Through government funded research, Abacus has developed decision-support eHealth tools for individuals/clinicians.  All of the below tools are available and utilized within the Good Health Gateway web site.  Each tool has been shown to be effective in increasing awareness about health status as well as facilitating communication about important health issues and risks.  Our empowering online tools include:

The HeartAge tool, developed with funding from the National Heart Lung and Blood Institute (NHLBI), can be used to make members aware of their risk for CVD, understand risk factors, and motivate behavior change.

myMedicationAdvisor^®
myMedicationAdvisor is an online tool funded by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) that promotes the safe and proper use of prescription medication, increases adherence to prescribed regimens, and maximizes the value of Rx spending.

My Health Maximizer^®
My Health Maximizer is an eHealth tool developed with funding from the National Cancer Institute.  Users obtain guidance, critical feedback, and tracking tools to create and maintain a healthier lifestyle by eating better, getting physical exercise, and quitting smoking.

Trale - Health Risk Assessment (HRA)
Abacus is also proud to partner with Trale to provide our clients with a robust and leading Health Risk Assessment.  Abacus has fully integrated the Trale HRA into the Good Health Gateway web site, and it is used in numerous Abacus programs to help identify members at risk and begin the process of member behavior change.  Abacus is able to provide our clients with both online and offline Health Risk Assessments as well as the data analysis to ensure that employees who are at risk get the care they require.
